Jaclyn and Ryan

This past "May the 4th" (2023), my stepdaughter Jaclyn Greco, married the love of her life, Ryan Raithel. Ryan gained an instant family, becoming a devoted stepfather to Giovonni (age 18) and Gianna (age 6.) Jaclyn and Ryan quickly settled into a routine, both working, sharing household responsibilities, school drop offs and day care pick-ups. Ryan is a self-employed sub-contractor, and he was fortunate enough to have the flexibility in his schedule to accommodate his family's needs.

Fast forward to December 14, 2023. After just seven months as a married couple and blended family, Ryan has been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, which has metastasized to his liver. He is scheduled to start chemotherapy in the next two weeks. Ryan will be unable to work for some time. Applying for and being approved for disability will take at least three to eight months. Our hope is to be able to raise enough money to help Jaclyn and Ryan with their monthly household expenses while he undergoes treatment.
