My name is Jacky Tormis and I live in Port Hawkesbury Nova Scotia. I am a registered massage therapist at Secret Spa. My son Justin needs spinal surgery in the Philippines and being originally from the Philippines I do not have medical privileges like Canadians do. I therefore require to pay for my sons spinal surgery out of my own pocket. Unfortunately the money that I do have is not enough to cover the costs of this surgery that my son  requires. His surgery was originally booked for July 5th but for financial reasons we have to move the surgery date to July 24th.

The longer we wait to have this surgery, the condition of my son worsens. A few friends of mine have suggested that I try gofundme to raise some funds to help me with the 900,000 PH Peso cost of this surgery which in Canadian funds converts to $22,000.  I have already started to save some money towards this medical cost but I have not nearly enough to cover this substantial cost.
