Jack Morris Sr. is an amazing single father to his two sons, and dozens of other kids that needed him as a father figure in their life.
In October of this year, Jack Sr. started to experience various disturbing symptoms such as blurred vision, confusion and slurred speech.
At the insistence of others (he’s always been a non-complainer) he visited the doctor. Shockingly they found a large tumor the size of a golf ball growing in his brain.
Luckily, even with the tremendous pressure the tumor caused, including brain swelling, the doctors were able to remove it successfully.
Even though Jack Sr. was in good spirits following the surgery, the doctors informed him the tumor had roots quite deep in his brain. He will undergo radiation and chemo to continue the fight.
Even with these aggressive treatments, the doctors have given him a poor prognosis of 18 months.
We don’t believe that. We can’t. We won’t.
We must all step up and help jack fight this. He deserves to be propped up by all those that he has loved and supported for so long.
His medical bills are rising quickly, by the tens of thousands, and new experimental treatments are out of reach that could help him fight. We must act now so he isn’t fighting this alone!
Please think about how easy it would be to skip your coffee a few days a week this month – and how much you could help along with others.
We are working to create some incentives to donors in the coming weeks. T-shirt, cups, etc. So you can spread the word and champion Jack Sr as he deserves!
