In September 2017, we lost our son, Jackson Antonio Clark. He was a happy, healthy little boy who loved shoes, spoons, cars, silly faces, and flower walks. Jackson sadly passed away in his sleep shortly after his second birthday. After a thorough investigation we were never given a cause of death, making this a case of "Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood" (SUDC).

Jackson was an early riser, so our family often started the day with a little "flower walk" around the neighborhood. He loved to smell roses and blow on dandelion puff-balls on our walks near Green Lake.

We have an annual tradition of gathering for a "Jackson Flower Walk" during the month of September, since his birthday is on September 11 and his anniversary is on September 20. It's been a meaningful way to connect with family and friends, collectively remember Jackson, and spend time doing one of his favorite activities in our old Green Lake neighborhood.
