Support Jackson’s Lifelong Battle with Addison’s Disease

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help in saving our beloved dog, Jackson. Jackson is more than just a pet, he’s family. He’s the goofy, loving, and loyal companion to me and my boyfriend Zac, and yesterday, he faced the fight of his life.

Jackson became extremely sick. He stopped eating, lost over 25% of his body weight, was walking slowly, and lagging behind on walks, something so unlike our energetic pup. We knew something was very wrong. We rushed him to the hospital, where he spent hours undergoing tests and emergency care. At first, we were devastated to hear he might be suffering from end-stage renal disease. But after pushing for more answers and additional testing, we were finally able to get the correct diagnosis: Addison’s Disease, a rare and life-threatening condition in dogs.

While the diagnosis isn’t 100% confirmed yet, all the indicators are leaning toward Addison’s, a rare but treatable condition. And right now, that’s actually the best case scenario.

Addison’s disease occurs when the adrenal glands fail to produce the hormones that regulate vital functions like blood pressure, hydration, and energy. Without treatment, it can lead to severe illness, shock, and even death. We caught it just in time, Jackson’s life was truly hanging in the balance.

It’s already cost us thousands of dollars in overnight veterinary care, and Jackson now faces a long road to recovery. Addison’s disease is a lifelong condition that requires:
