Jackson's FHNE surgery

Hi, my name is Haylee and I am fundraising to have some help with my cat Jackson. Jackson will be turning 2 years old this June and unfortunately requires a life changing surgery. After several vet visits and his recent X- rays which he had last Friday (11th April) it has confirmed that he has a condition called slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE). This condition is where the growth plate (physis) in his hip joint slips or in his case separates. Fortunately cats are able to live long healthy lives with this condition but only with surgery. This is something that he was possibly born with. The current surgery is £2000 but I am looking to raise anything that can help towards this as he requires this surgery as soon as possible due to the significant pain he is currently in. He has left leg lameness and is unable to jump. The insurance only covers so much in a year and as you can imagine this was very unexpected news and we have had multiple trips to the vets before this.
