It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the passing of our son, Tee-Dee-Nae Jackson Yearby. To know Jackson was to know that he was kind-hearted, selfless, respectful, and loved his family, art, and running. You could find him around the powwow arena with a contagious smile when your eyes met. Jackson loved and loved hard, especially his family. His infectious laughter and smile touched the lives of all who knew him. Jackson had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and seen. Whether it was a listening ear, offering words of encouragement, or simply sharing a goofy story about himself. He always sought to make someone’s day better. For 14 months, Jackson’s parents begged the public for answers. On April 23, 2024, the family’s worst nightmare became a reality when they learned that their loving son’s remains had been located. Jackson was 17 years young when his precious life was taken. During this unimaginable time of grief, the family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support as they navigate this difficult time. Your unwavering kindness and comforting words have provided them with some solace amidst the immense pain that they are enduring. Knowing that they have a community of friends and family who stood beside them, offering support and holding the family in their thoughts and prayers, has been a source of strength during this dark and difficult journey. As the family transitions through this new phase of life, we ask that you please continue to pray for Jackson’s family. This fundraiser is being set up to assist the family with funeral expenses, and any additional unexpected costs to provide Jackson with the Celebration of Life he deserves.
