Jackson was involved in a pretty wild accident on Sunday, the 6th of Feb. He was skiing with a friend off of 9990 when he slipped with one ski off and slid down a very steep hill into a couple of trees. Jackson was airlifted to the Primary Children's Hospital and is now home with his family, resting and healing. He has a hole in his chin, most likely from his broken ski pole and is missing and has damaged some teeth. He has large wounds on his front and back that require daily wound care; his face and chest are very swollen from impact. He is still suffering from a concussion which could linger for around three weeks. We are all so fortunate as it could have been much worse. Folks have reached out to me on how to help, and the Go fund me's are a great way to do so. They have insurance, but helicopter rides and new teeth are still expensive. The family will also have to replace his ski gear from the helmet, pants, jacket, thermals, new poles etc.

Upped the goal after learning what a helicopter ride might cost. Yikes!
