Update 

First steps of treatment will happen when I raise a total of $3k combined with the money I have saved for him. We are $1,735 away from raising enough. I will withdrawal that at the time and update everyone on the first step. Next step after that will be surgery. I am in a holding pattern right now, gathering more funds. Thank you all who have contributed. I apologize, I haven’t sent out thank you messages yet. I just moved last weekend and we are getting settled in before Christmas!!! 

Hi everyone- My first baby boy is sick. On November 17th he was diagnosed with Pulmonary Neoplasia at Bohdi Veterinary Hospital. Most of you know Jackson and he has touched your life. If you don’t, he is a sweet, 10 year old mini schnauzer. He has been healthy his whole life; spunky and full of energy and LOVE. He has taken a turn for the worst. Unfortunately, I have had countless, unexpected personal expenses this year. It is with a humble heart I am asking for any help you can donate. Jackson’s treatment plan from Pet Emergency and Specialty center in La Mesa, CA includes the following:

Ultrasound fine needle aspirate pulmonary oncology.

CT scan

With blood work

Surgery to remove the large smoothly marginated ovoid soft tissue opaque mass within the right caudal lung lobe measuring approximately 9 cm x 9.3 cm x 6.6 cm. The mass is centered over the right caudal bronchus.

Potential chemotherapy

Treatment plan can change as we progress through each step, just as it would with a human. I will keep everyone up to date. Praying for an easy removal of the tumor without it spreading or him needing chemo. It is imperative that I act fast as we don’t know how much time he has left. This estimate of cost came from the vet.
