Help us ease the loss of Avery Marie. Surrounded by her loving family, Avery, precious baby daughter of Heather and Brandon Jackson, passed away at home on February 4, 2021, and was greeted in heaven by her brother, Hunter. Although Avery’s time on this earth was brief, she touched many lives.


The story I am going to share will make you count your blessings and enjoy every moment of every day, for life is precious like a sweet child. My nephew, Brandon and his beautiful wife, Heather have had to endure any parent’s worst nightmare.

Their first heavenly angel, Hunter Joseph Jackson was born on May 17th, 2018. Hunter unfortunately never came home from the hospital but fought a tough battle for eight weeks until he took his last breath in his mother’s arms. Brandon and Heather laid him to rest on July 12, 2018. On September 22nd, 2020 they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Avery Marie Jackson.

Avery was born with a rare seizure disorder with no known cure and a one year life expectancy. She spent much of her life at Children’s Mercy Hospital with her parents by her side. Avery was able to go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas with in-home nursing care. Daddy would watch football with Avery snuggled in his arms.

Every sigh, every smile, every moment was a blessing. Unfortunately, her seizures became uncontrollable and her final days were spent in a medically induced coma. Avery was brought back home in an ambulance with a doctor present where the family could say their final goodbyes.

Avery took her last breath in her daddy’s arms safe, secure and loved unconditionally. The Go Fund Me has been established to help this family pay for medical and funeral costs so their focus can be on their hearts healing.
