Hi, My name is Matt, and I need your help.

Well, I don't. But these guys cure could use it.

On my July 6th morning commute, I watched in horror as circumstances unfolded before my eyes. At highway speeds, the unthinkable happens, and a rider goes down in front of me.

Hard.

I watched as he flipped, and ultimately landed in the grass on his back, seperated from his machine by a sizeable gap. By the time the EMT's arrived, we had already made contact with his wife, and had started getting him free of his gloves, and chin strap.

I spent a good portion of my day with his wife, directing her to the correct hospital, the right parking area, and then was able to stay with her until more family reinforcements arrived. In that time I met their child, a 6 week old infant that will never know how close they were from being a footnote in an obituary.

After a day of surgery to put his arm back together, he will have months of physical therapy and medical expenses.

I don't know these people. But, that could have been me on the side of the highway, asking for someone to call my wife.

That could be me, the only income in the house, now not able to work and support my family.

These folks have a long road ahead of them, and I want to personally ask everyone that can, to put some support behind this.
