Hi, my name is Amanda Rowe. I am the mother of Jackson Rowe. I have started this fundraiser to help support Jackson in his recent selection to the Australian team, competing in 2 events, the 100 meters and 200 meters, at the pacific games in Saipan. Every kid dreams of wearing the mighty green and gold, and Jackson has achieved this level of competition in just over six months.

So I will give you a little background on Jackson.

Jackson, 18 years old, 1 of 5 children, grew up in Whalan Mount Druitt. Jackson, who spent his childhood playing rugby league, decided to start sprint running after a school running carnival at his school, the hills sports high school, where he broke the school record for 100 meters running 10.83 seconds. Jackson then worked with a sprint coach, training five days a week for three-plus hours and competing around Sydney, travelling to Canberra. Since Jackson's start of competition in November 2021, Jackson has had a personal best of 100 meters in 10.71 seconds which is quite an achievement considering he had just begun to run. Jackson went on to win NSW under the 20s 60 meter sprint with 6.81 seconds, and in February this year, Jackson was selected to be in the NSW team to represent in the 4x100 relay team, 100 meters and 200-meter events. Today Jackson has been named as selected to represent Australia in the pacific games held in Saipan; however, the comp is not funded, and they leave for the games on the 17th of June. Is anyone able to help get Jackson to Saipan and give him this fantastic opportunity to go and represent Australia?
