Je m'appelle Maude et je veux vous partagez l'histoire de ma meilleure amie Sarah et de son magnifique petit garçon Jackson 4 ans qui mérite plus que tout au monde d'avoir la chance de marcher un jour.
Lorsque Jackson avait 4 mois, il a attrappé une méningite virale.
Il a frôlé la mort et les médecins ont décidé de provoqué un coma pour limiter les séquelles.
Suite à 1 mois d'hospitalisation et de nombreux soins reçus, le verdict tombe... Jackson ne marchera peut-être jamais...
il reçoit le diagnostic de paralysie cérébrale vers l’âge de 2 ans ainsi qu’un retard moteur global. Jackson a toute sa tête, mais ses muscles sont tellement raides, qu’ils empêchent ses os de grandir normalement.
Ça fait 4 ans que sarah fait tout son possible pour ne pas rater un seul rendez vous de physiothérapeute, ergothérapeute, orthopédistes, neurologue, ostéopathe, suivis médical et j’en passe. Ce qui représente plus d’une centaine de rendez-vous. Tout cela pour donner toutes les chances que Jackson méritent.
Il a fait du progrès, mais la seule et dernière chance qu'il lui reste pour pouvoir se déplacer sur ses 2 pieds et suivre son petit frère Lennox. C’est une opération qui aura lieu à l’automne 2022 dans sa moëlle épinière. (Radicellectomie) Cette opération lui enlèvera sa douleur qui a de façon permanente, l’arrêt de la prise de médicament, le retrait des ortheses de nuit ainsi que de l’aider à gagner en autonomie pour lui permettre de vivre une vie plus normale !
Une opération qui nécessitera un suivi extrêmement demandant.
6 heures de réhabilitation par jours pendant minimum 6 semaines et 4 rendez-vous par semaine pendant 1 an, sans compter tous les exercices à faire chaque jour à la maison !!!
Nul besoin de vous dire que la maman n'aura pas assez de congés pour subvenir aux besoins de Jackson.
Que tous ces rendez-vous et suivis là vont coûter très chers de frais de déplacement, de repas, frais de rdv, stationnements, location/achat de chambre hyperbare, etc etc.
Donnons pour une maman merveilleuse qui se donne corps et âme pour le bonheur de son enfant!

My name is Maude and I want to share with you the story of my best friend Sarah and her beautiful 4 year old little boy Jackson who deserves more than anything to have the chance to walk one day.
When Jackson was 4 months old, he caught viral meningitis.
He was close to death and the doctors decided to induce a coma to limit the after-effects.
Following 1 month of hospitalization and numerous treatments received, the verdict falls... Jackson may never walk... he is diagnosed with cerebral palsy around the age of 2 years as well as a global motor delay . Jackson has all his head, but his muscles are so stiff, they prevent his bones from growing normally.
For 4 years, sarah don't want to miss appointment with a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, orthopedic surgeon, neurologist, osteopath, medical follow-up and so on. This represents more than a hundred appointments. All to give Jackson every chance he deserves.
He has made progress, but the only and last chance he has left is to be able to move on his 2 feet and follow his little brother Lennox. This is an operation that will take place in the fall of 2022 in his spinal cord. (Radicellectomy) This operation will permanently remove his pain, stop taking medication, remove night orthoses and help him gain autonomy to allow him to live a more normal life!
An operation that will require an extremely demanding.
6 hours of rehabilitation per day for a minimum of 6 weeks and 4 appointments per week for 1 year, not to mention all the exercises to do every day at home!!!
No need to tell you that the mother will not have enough time off to support Jackson.
That all these appointments and follow-ups will be very expensive in terms of travel costs, meals, appointment costs, parking, hyperbaric chamber rental/purchase, etc.
Let's give for a wonderful mother who gives herself body and soul for the happiness of her child!
