Jack and I have an exciting opportunity to travel to Beijing, Xian and Shanghai, China in February 2017! This once in a lifetime trip is being offered as part of Jack’s Chinese II education. We will get to climb a portion of the Great Wall, visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, see the Terra Cotta Warriors, a Chinese Acrobatics and a Kung Fu show, ride in a rickshaw and much, much more!
This is Jack’s second year studying Chinese and he can read, write and speak Chinese! This would be an excellent opportunity for Jack to further his Chinese education. It would also be a chance for both of us to learn more about our Chinese heritage, which is very meaningful to both of us and we've never had the opportunity to go to China. Unfortunately, we are not able to fully fund the trip. We are reaching out in hopes that you will be able to contribute a little bit to help make this amazing possibility a reality! We need to come up with $5000 by January 16th to pay for our plane tickets, tour, including hotels, transportation and meals, as well as passports and visas.
We are hoping you can help us with this. Anything you want to give will go a long ways towards turning this opportunity into a reality.
