Jack’s thank you

Hello, my name is Jack, I am 20 years old and live with my parents and younger brother Dylan in Waterbeach, Cambridge.

I have cerebral palsy, epilepsy, visual impairment and learning disabilities and, for those of you who know me, spend most of my time washing cars and listening to loud rock music :)

I was recently admitted into Addenbrookes’s hospital in Cambridge after suffering bad headaches. After having tests done, it became clear that I needed a new shunt in my brain. This keeps me safe and controls the hydrocephalus I had as a baby.

In spite of the procedure being challenging,  Neurosurgeons Thanasis Paschalis and Alexis Joannides never gave up and did a fantastic job.

I want to say thank you to the Neuro Team, the nurses and all the other staff on Wards A5 and A3 by doing my first fundraiser. 

I have decided to raise money in aid of Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust. 

I am pledging some money that was recently given to me and hope as many people as possible will join me.
