Help Us Give Jack More Time — Year 2
Nearly one year ago Jack was diagnosed, then we shared our beautiful boy Jack’s story.
At just 7 years old, Jack was diagnosed with CLN3 Batten disease—a rare and devastating genetic condition that affects around 1 in 100,000 children worldwide.
Thanks to the incredible support, kindness, and generosity of so many people, we were able to begin accessing a promising treatment for Jack. We will never have the words to fully express what that has meant to our family. You have helped give Jack more time—time filled with laughter, love, and precious moments we hold close every day.
As we now come to a year since diagnosis we need to raise funds for Jack's second year, we find ourselves needing your support once again.
Batten disease is still progressing. It continues to impact Jack’s vision and will, over time, affect his ability to learn, move, and communicate. While there is still no cure, the medication Jack is receiving offers hope—it may help slow the disease and give him more of the joyful childhood he deserves.
The reality is that this treatment costs $11,450 every 22 days, and ongoing access depends on our ability to continue raising these funds.
So we are reaching out again, with grateful hearts, to ask for your help.
If you are able to donate, share Jack’s story, or simply keep him in your thoughts, it truly makes a difference. Every contribution—big or small—helps us continue this fight for Jack.
Jack remains his bright, loving self. While he is aware that his vision has changed, we continue to protect his joy and allow him to experience life with the innocence and happiness every child deserves. We kindly ask that this be respected.
Because of you, Jack has already been given something priceless: more time.
With your continued support, we hope to give him even more.
Thank you for standing with Jack and our family—then, now, and into the future.
With love and endless gratitude,
The Danskin Family
