Jacks River Primary School in St. Mary, Jamaica, is a place that means the world to me. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering there several times—each visit has been a truly life-changing experience.
The students are bright, eager, and full of potential, but the school faces daily challenges due to limited resources. Despite this, the children show up every day with big smiles, open hearts, and an incredible love for learning. In February 2026, Felicity—a fellow volunteer from Australia whom I met while serving in Jamaica in 2024—and I will be returning to support both the school and local hurricane-relief efforts.
I’m creating this GoFundMe because I’ve seen firsthand how even simple items—books, pencils, sports equipment, learning materials, proper classroom supplies, and facility improvements—can make a meaningful difference. Every dollar raised will go directly toward us purchasing much-needed resources for the school and giving these deserving children the tools they need to learn and thrive.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will have an immediate impact. Whether you choose to donate, share this fundraiser, or simply offer encouragement, you’re helping to build a brighter future for these kids.
Thank you so much for your kindness, your support, and for believing in the power of education. Together, we can help this school continue to grow and ensure every child has the chance to thrive.
If you prefer to donate materials or hurricane-relief supplies instead of money, please feel free to contact me directly—we’ll be happy to arrange it.
