Jack’s post-op journey❤️

Hi, my name is Joe and I’m the Dad of @Jack_von_kurt. Jack sustained complex puncture wounds from an attack by two off-leash dogs in Big Bear, CA. I had quick clot to stop the bleeding but still could not get him to the vet for 3 days due to the heavy snowfall in the area. His injuries required surgical placement of multiple drainage catheters and thorough wound debridement due to necrosis. I’m a service-disabled veteran currently supporting my elderly parents so Jack’s unexpected medical bills are financially challenging. The owner of the other dogs has taken responsibility but has limited financial resources. I’m trying to raise $2650 to cover Jack’s immediate bills. Anything additional, I will donate to Westside German Shepherd Rescue, the organization that put Jack and I together 7 years ago. Thank you.❤️
