Hi my name is Vicky and I am jacks mum. Jack is my 16 year old amazing son who was born with Severe verbal dyspraxia, global development delay, Right sided hemiatrohy and suspected autism. This means he has no speech - can only make sounds and presents as a 9 year old boy, learning at a reception age.

We are originally from Blackburn Lancashire, lived in Rishton but have now settled in Bacup, where jack attends a specialist college in Burnley and I work as a family support worker and DSL in a local school.

Neurocytonix in Mexico now have a pioneering treatment that could give him an amazing chance of speech which would be LIFE CHANGING for him and give him a voice that every child deserves.

The cost of this treatment alone (without flights or accomodation) is $35,000 (about £28,000).

Jack needs to be in Mexico for 32 days to complete the treatment.

Jack has been chosen to have this treatment on 7th Jun 2026 so the race is now on to raise those funds and fulfil his dreams of speech as his treatment needs to be paid for 8 weeks before we travel so needs to be paid 12th April 2026.

Also i just wanted to add a note saying I am only raising the funds for jacks treatment costs - they are $35000 which is around £28,000 - £30,000. I will be trying to save the money for flights, accomodation for 32 days, insurance and money for whikst were there.
