Most of you know my Dad as Jack Schuster. On April 13th, 2025, he had a widowmaker's heart attack. He was brought back after 30 mins and rushed to Franklin Square Hospital, where a stent was put in his heart. This left him in the ICU on a ventilator for 3 days until he started breathing on his own. He has memory loss due to lack of oxygen to his brain for so long, along with a long recovery process ahead of him! He is not supposed to be driving or working for at the very least the next 6 months, if not longer. He will be starting therapy to help regain his strength and work on his memory.

If you know my dad (Jack) well enough, you know how hard of a worker he is and how much he LOVES his job. He’s not the one to ever ask for help, but unfortunately, his month-to-month bills don’t just stop. I want him to be able to focus on his recovery and not have to worry about rushing back to work before he’s ready to make sure his bills are kept up with.
