Our sweet Jack gave us quite a scare last Friday. In just a couple of hours, he went from being perfectly fine to suffering internal bleeding from a ruptured spleen. It was a very close call, and he had to undergo emergency surgery to stop the bleed before, we even knew the cause.

Three days later, we are so thankful to be on the other side of it with him home and recovering. ❤️ Jack did develop a small heart arrhythmia from the lack of oxygen to his organs during that time, but we are hopeful with rest and care he’ll continue to heal.

We’re not ones to ask for help, but with many kind friends reaching out, we’ve started a GoFundMe to help with the overwhelming and unexpected costs of his surgery. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing, means the world to us, especially knowing how tough times are for everyone right now.
