Hi! My name is Jackie Feldman and I am a senior at the High School for Math, Science and Engineering at the CCNY campus. My passion project is raising money for pediatric cancer research ever since my brother Daniel was diagnosed with biphenotypic leukemia, an extremely rare type of leukemia, at the age of four. The treatment was very long and parts of it were experimental which was very stressful for Daniel and my whole family. Daniel was treated at Memorial Sloane Kettering (MSK) hospital and with their outstanding work, he is now in remission and a healthy, happy, 13 year old. I have made it my mission to simultaneously help raise money for cancer research and show my endless thanks and support to MSK for saving my little brother. I want to help bring smiles to survivors!
