Jackie Yohman Math Fund

Jackie Yohman was an extremely talented and greatly loved Math teacher who designed creative ways to make her love of Math contagious to her students. She started, enriched, and expanded Math Club and Matheletes teams at each school where she taught, greatly increasing the participation numbers and excitement. Jackie’s goal as a teacher was to help students love, understand, and have fun with Math and to enjoy learning.

I know that Jackie had the passion and plans to continue sharing the joy of Math with students for many more years.

Therefore, although flowers are beautiful and a thoughtful expression of caring, our family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, you would consider donating to the “Jackie Yohman Math Fund” to benefit the Math Clubs at the schools where she taught, allowing her legacy to live on impacting many future students.

Should you choose to give to this fund, please designate your donation to either GCA or Marburn Academy. Jackie's husband, John, will present one combined donation at each school during an assembly in Jackie’s honor on PI Day 2022. (March 14th – PI=3.14)

If a check is easier, it can be made payable to either Marburn Academy or Granville Christian Academy (both 501C3) with Jackie Yohman Math Fund in the memo. Please personally message Jenny Duchini or John Yohman for address to send.
