Hi - I’m Noelle, my sister, family and I are asking for any help that you can give for our cousin, Jackie Hannan.
Jackie has been dealing with quite a lot lately, while caring for her mother, Jane, during her battle with blood cancer Jackie has been dealing with the devastating news that she’s been diagnosed with breast cancer herself.
During her mother’s final weeks Jackie had to undergo two surgeries of her own in an attempt at removing her cancer. These surgeries have proven unsuccessful and the treatment plan has changed. Her current plan is chemotherapy followed by a double mastectomy. Just a short week after burying her mother Jackie has received her first round of chemo. She has a difficult fight ahead of her, all while grieving the loss of her mother and raising her three beautiful girls.
Suffice it to say her life has changed dramatically within the last couple of months. We have had many people reach out asking for ways to help her, which has led us to create this fundraiser. This fundraising effort will help Jackie offset the cost of lost wages, additional medical expenses, and everything else that may be needed to care for her family. Jackie is doing her best and is leaning on her support system, but her burden is getting heavier with each day. These funds will help to relieve some of the stress and hopefully allow her to focus on her fight against breast cancer.
I have heard this often over the past few weeks and it couldn't be truer: "Treasure your cousins, they were your first friends and they love you forever." Fortunately, I can say that Jackie is a shining example of the statement for myself, my sister and many others.
Any amount that you can contribute is welcomed, appreciated, and will help ease a heavy burden.
