Jackie Stone's Ongoing Medical Treatments

Hello. I'm starting this Gofunme to help with My wife's ongoing medical bills.

I'm going to start at the beginning.

We met in 2003, and I knew she was the one from the start. She is a wonderful person, a fantastic mother, and the best partner I could ask for. We have been married since 2005 and have four incredible children. She has been a stay-at-home mom and has single handily raised children we are very proud of, as I was a traveling mechanic for the first ten years of our children's upbringing. I have always been the sole provider for our family.

At 17, right after we met, she was diagnosed with cervical cancerous cells and mixed connective tissue disease in the same week. She beat cervical cancer with treatment; Unfourtantly, there is no cure for mixed connective tissue disease.

Her ailments were very mild during the years of having children for the most part. About four years ago, her symptoms came back with a fury. She has been seeing the Rhumetoligist and trying different medicines and treatments. She has been given a battery of treatments, including weekly shots, which are very expensive. About eight months ago, her iron had gotten very low, and she is now doing IV iron supplements every 11 days or so.

She started having issues where she would collapse with any activity; just walking to the kitchen would make her dizzy; recently, she passed out making the children breakfast, and I made her go to the hospital. She had to have a blood transfusion as her platelets were a 4. they scoped her intestines and couldn't find a source of the bleeding.

She was hours from death. She also has a calcium deficiency which caused her to lose all her teeth in the last 90 days. They are just breaking off!

All this brings us to now. Even with health insurance, all the treatments, co-pays, and fuel to go to appointments have put a substantial financial strain on basics like food.

The doctors say she will likely have to do iron infusions and injections for mixed connective tissue disease for the rest of her life.

Currently, we are behind on all the bills. Rent. Car, utilities etc... I have been working every extra hour/shift available to stay afloat.

We have started getting her on SSI/disability but as we all know it’s a very lengthy process
