Jackie Ramos and her three beautiful kids

Donation protected
Hi everyone...
It saddens me to be writing this but my friend Jackie Ramos unexpectedly lost her husband one week before Christmas. If you know Jackie, you know she is one of the hardest workers and kindest person. She is a great mom, she always puts her kids first. Jackie is a PCT in the ER. She has been going to school to become a nurse to better herself for her and her family. She may have to put her studies on hold since she now has to be the sole provider for her children. My heart is broken for her and her kids... she lost the love of her life and is left behind to pick up the pieces and hold her family together. She does not have family here in Florida to lean on during this difficult time. Below is her love story..... If you can help in any way, please do.

On the afternoon of August 30th, 1999, 16-year-old me walked out of my home, wearing my McDonald’s best, on my way to work with no idea what God had planned for me that day. I would meet my soulmate and my life would change forever. As I arrived at Neshaminy mall, I took a seat at a nearby bench waiting for my next bus, I noticed a young guy with a black backpack sitting on the next bench, sneaking glances at me. Although he was a 17-year-old boy but looked 25, I thought to myself, Lord please let this person find someone else to be creepy with. As I looked down at my CD player to change the song, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I quickly put my headphones away and he says, "excuse me, do you mind if I talk to you for a minute?". I said, sure, with an uncontrollable smile on my face. He sat next to me and says, it looks like you are on your way to work. And I say, what gave that away? We both laughed and I said “you look like you just came from school. And he says, what gave that away? We introduced ourselves and talked for a while, till his mother drove up. He asked for my number and hesitantly I gave it to him. He gave me a big hug and said it was so nice meeting you. His mother saw us talking and as he got in the car and drove away, his mother asked him, who was that girl you were talking to? He responded, "That’s my future wife."
Freddy knew from the very beginning. We were married for 21 years but Freddy counts it as 24. I was his love, his wife, the person he most trusted, and his protector. He was an amazing husband and although he had his troubles, he loved me more than words could ever express. We were complete opposites. He was fire, I was ice. Sometimes it was the other way around. We were elements that balanced each other out. He would do anything for me and did his best to make me happy. At times, I would think to myself that I don’t deserve Freddy. He was thoughtful, had a big heart, and was free-spirited and loving. I always hoped to grow old together and even though we had gone through many trials and tribulations, we stood by each other's side. We truly have a love story unlike any other. Two perfectly imperfect entities who fell in love made a beautiful family and raised 2 strong handsome men and a beautiful little girl.
