Jackie (John) Uberti needs some help please

My husband Jackie,54 years young, also know as John has been diagnosed with ALS and Frontal Temporal Lobe Dementia.  Both of these illnesses are terminal.  Jack has always been a hard worker both in the Construction Union Local 151 out of Cambridge MA and his own catering service New England Clam Bakes.  He started his catering at a young age of 20 when he had a hot dog cart across from the Milford Town Hall in Milford CT.  Jack played football all his life and after relocating to MA he coached youngsters to play the game he loved.  During September to December of 2020 he went to the doctors and Emergency Departments several times for “the shakes” and difficulty breathing.  He was told over and over “it’s just a little tremor” and “You have asthma”. The doctors were all wrong. If they had only....... but they did not.   On 12/22/2020 our life changed.   My husband went to the hospital and passed out in triage where he was in full respiratory arrest. He was Intubated in the triage.  I called the hospital at 4am on 12/33/2020 and screamed clapping to the floor when they told me.  That was the start of 78 days before he would return to our home.  Now the doctors tell him to live everyday to the fullest.  He would benefit from a oxygen concentrator that works in the car as he never wants to sit home. He is happy going out but we have to be careful using portable oxygen tanks as they have a time limit.  We ran out once and it was scary. Please consider donating to this fundraiser as the portable oxygen concentrator is expensive as you can see.  My husband is on a ventilator Evernote and son will be on one 24/7. While in the hospital my husband missed Christmas, New Year’s, his father’s illness and subsequent passing, and our first wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day.
