Jackie Downton

With heavy hearts, we must share the news of Mrs. Jackie Downton's unexpected passing on Monday, November 6, 2023, at her home in Lewisporte. She was 54 years old.

In this trying time, we remember Jackie as the light in our lives. She now joins her father, Baxter, and her grandparents, Anastacia and Leander Picco, Jim and Annie Sheppard, in eternal peace.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Roger, who will forever hold the love they shared in his heart. Her sons, Hunter(Jayden), Joshua(Selena), and Jason, will keep her spirit alive through their own lives. Her grandson, Levi, will be reminded often of how much she loved him.

Her mother, Daphne Sheppard, carries the bond they shared, and her siblings, Michelle(Kevin), Kim(Dave), Sherry(Mark), and Shawn(Jessie), grieve their loss but also hold dear the moments they had together.

Jackie's memory lives on in her parents-in-law, Fred and Joan Downton, her Hockey Family, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness.

While words cannot fill the void left by her absence, we find comfort in the memories we shared and the love that still surrounds us. Jackie's presence will be deeply missed, but her impact on our lives will always be remembered.
