Jackie Dean McElroy Jr
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Trish. I am reaching out for support in honoring the memory of my beloved son, Jackie Dean McElroy Jr AKA (Red). Jackie was a homeless veteran who battled with addiction for many years. Despite his struggles, Jackie always maintained a kind heart and a charming personality.
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 5:06 pm, Jackie's battle with addiction came to an end. It was a heartbreaking moment for our family, as we witnessed the strength of his disease. However, we choose to remember Jackie for the loving person he was, rather than the challenges he faced.
Jackie cherished his family and the moments spent with his many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He found solace in their presence and the love they shared. As he took his last breaths, I believe that the spirits of our departed loved ones were there to guide him.
One constant source of joy in Jackie's life was his loyal companion, Bruno. For the past 8 years, Bruno stood by Jackie's side, offering unwavering support and protection. We have found a loving family who has welcomed Bruno into their home, ensuring he receives the care and love he deserves.
Unfortunately, Jackie did not have insurance or extensive veterans' benefits due to his General Discharge. As a result, I am humbly asking for any assistance you can provide to help give my son a dignified burial. Your support will help us honor Jackie's memory and provide closure for our family.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and considering a contribution. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated.
