During the course of a weekend camping trip with a group of friends, Jack slipped on a rock while it was dark outside and fell into a burning campfire. He was able to quickly roll out of the fire to safety but unfortunately suffered serious burns to both legs, his stomach, and chest. We were able to treat his wounds and bandage them but he still was in immense pain and had to seek medical attention.

He is requiring surgery on his left leg to apply a skin graft. He is recently out of the military after serving for six years and works full time as a blue collar worker. As with a lot of people in the manual labor industry, money can be tight and medical insurance is very expensive. His surgery is scheduled for Thursday, August 2, 2018. The funds raised will help pay the costs of the surgery and recovery.
