Jack Whaling of Jeffersonville, Pa. passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 16, 2020 at the age of 42. Jack left behind his loving wife Debbie, their beautiful daughter Emily (15 years old), and step sons Matt and Christopher.
Such an unexpected loss of a person just beginning their mid-life years brings not only an emotional pain to the family but also tremendous financial stress. In the immediate aftermath the family will find themselves solely concentrating on keeping their emotions together because that is what will take the most energy. But we also know that once the services are over and everyone else returns to their normal, the family will be just beginning their journey. The real financial weight of losing Jack will settle in, compounding on itself as the months go on, thus compounding their loss.
We want Debbie to know that she is not alone. She herself has volunteered many times to host fundraisers for others because she knows how it feels to be at a financial crossroad. She is the first to make sure everyone is taken care of and not forgotten. She has walked the walk by giving many people a leg up or a shoulder to lean on. She has put clothes on their back or provided a roof over their head when they needed it.
We want to repay that same commitment to her now. We are asking her friends to find it in your hearts to help her in this time of unimaginable grief.
Won’t you please stand with the family to help provide them with this much needed monetary support? Help us let them know that we will stand with them, not just in the immediate aftermath, but for whatever time it takes for her to lean on us. 100% of the funds collected will go directly to the family to offset funeral costs etc.
We recognize that many are under financial stress due to the COVID-19 pandemic and are immensely thankful for any contribution you are able to provide. If you are unable to, but still want to help, please continue to pray for the family.
