Jack V Ozmun TikTok's "Favorite" Grandpa

UPDATE: Jack passed away 9/11/2023 surrounded by his family. This fundraiser is for his final expenses, the immense hospital bills incurred, and for his wife Rae to be able to pay their basic living expenses that have accrued since Jack was diagnosed. We will miss Jack so much, his humor and kindness were felt around the country. Thank you from friends of Jack and Rae.

Friends, Family, and Friends We Haven't Met ,

So many people across the country know Jack as "TikTok's Favorite Grandpa" With a great amount of humor he shares what it's like to get older, specifically being an older driver, and has endeared himself to so many.

What he hasn't shared is that he was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer throughout his body. This fight has taken a severe toll on Jack and his wife Rae. At this point, the only thing that can be done is manage his pain. This has suddenly ended Jack's ability to work and perform most basic tasks such as, ironically, driving. He has spent most of the summer in severe pain which happened unexpectedly and he has a huge fight ahead of him.

Jack is and always has been a hard-working, selfless man, caring husband, proud father, grandfather, friend and coworker. Jack has always been the type of man to take the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He is often the man that people call when they need something fixed or need a favor and he NEVER expects anything in return. He truly is one of a kind. His strength of character continues to this day. He often tells his loved ones how much he just wants to get back to work. That statement embodies the life he has led. Always working and always acting in service of others.

Unfortunately, the burden of the medical costs and constant appointments has left the Ozmun's in a financially dire situation. With Jack unable to work and Rae caring for him and another family member, they are in a tight situation. Further, as "luck" would have it, they have incurred substantial expenses outside of the immediate cost of care. They had to leave when their previous residence of so many years was suddenly sold, and were forced to move to another state to be near family.

We have setup this campaign to support Jack and Rae during this challenging time. It's understood that in this economy not everyone has the means to help financially. But if you could leave a few kind words of encouragement it would help strengthen his resolve to fight this with all he has. Also sharing this campaign would be greatly appreciated.
