Jack to be part of the team GB Junior mixed teamgym squad

Hi my name is Jacqui and I’m the grandmother of Jack Helm who was selected to be part of the GB teamgym junior squad, to represent Great Britain in Buka in Azerbaijan in October 2024.

Jack is part of Northeast Gymnastics Academy and has been taking part in gymnastics from the age of 7, Jack went through a lot at a young age and came to live with me when he was 8years old, gymnastics has always been his extended family his comfort place and with the help and support of his coaches has achieved so much, so this opportunity that has been given to Jack is a dream come true, his devotion, commitment and determination has made him into a young man I’m proud to call my grandson.

The financial cost that comes with the achievement is expensive the training involved in the run up to the competition the travel and accommodation as well kit has to be paid for.
