Hello,

If you have known me over the past 5 years one of the things you will have noticed is my long wavy hair. This was initially a lockdown project started during the pandemic however the novelty has worn off and it is time to go back to a shorter style, so I have decided to donate my hair to a fantastic cause.

I’m a proud to announce that I am donating my hair to the Children’s Cancer Charity, THE LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST.

This charity supports the construction of wigs for children and young people undergoing chemotherapy and other intrusive procedures involving cancer treatment and other forms of hair loss. With everything these young people are going through the least we can do is help them feel like themselves again.

In order to count as a donation, one’s hair must be between 18-30cm (7-12Inch) in length and my hair definitely covers it.

I am aiming to raise a target of £700 (approx $930 for my American friends) which is the costs of one wig, however any amount exceeding this is greatly appreciated. With the thickness of my hair, I could potentially have enough for 2 wigs.

Every single donation is seriously appreciated.
