Jack Ragsdale funeral costs

Jack Riley passed away unexpectedly today. He had a heart attack this morning and apparently had pneumonia. For those of you reading this that didn’t know Jack, he was 23 years old and had Down Syndrome. He put a smile on anyone’s face that he came in contact with. He will be missed by many people. After talking to his Dad, I am making this go fund me page to help with funeral costs. I’m unsure as to what the costs will be as of yet. Jack’s Dad will be making the arrangements soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please keep the family in your prayers. Thank you in advance. ****Edit: I have learned that VERY little of Jack’s funeral expenses will be covered. It will be solely the family’s responsibility to pay for the costs. Unfortunately, I know all too well how expensive a funeral can be, and how much all the little details add up. No one should have to worry about these things when they’ve lost a loved one. PLEASE help us give Jack a service he deserves. He knew A LOT of people, and touched a lot of lives. Every little bit counts, and our family is forever grateful for any and all help. We will celebrate Jack’s life on Thursday, December 12 at Mitchell-Jerdan funeral home in Mattoon, Illinois from 4-6 pm. Funeral costs are less than we thought they would be, so I have edited the goal. Including the cost of urns for Jack’s Mom and Dad, services will be right under $5000. As of right now, we are almost halfway there. Please consider donating if you haven’t already. Every little bit counts. Our family is forever grateful for all donations, thoughts, and prayers.
