JACK, MY MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY SUPERHERO!
Donation protected
Jack is my SUPERHERO… he prefers BATMAN!
Jack is my 2 year old nephew, newly diagnosed with the incurable disease known as MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY, or “MD.”
Jack faces a genetic disease where his muscles lack a necessary protein for proper development, which leads to progressive muscular weakness.
Occurrence is approximately only ONE IN EVERY 3500-5000 male births. MD is noticeable first in the leg and motor skill development as a young child, most always eventually requiring assistive braces and wheelchair dependency; weakness of lung function builds in late teenage years and finally requires mechanical ventilation in the last phases of life.
The 20-30 year life expectancy can be optimized with proper care and vigilant therapy for muscular development to its maximum potential.
Jack is 2, and does not yet know what he is up against…
certainly nothing a SUPERHERO CANNOT CONQUER…
Jack is my superhero… he already displays courage, confidence, bravery and strength!
And just look at that smile…it makes your heart melt!
I am fundraising to help Jack help his parents meet the financial burden that they have been and will continue to incur throughout his life.
Jack has already had dozens of appointments, tests and procedures, only to realize his life’s destiny to be an MD SUPERHERO…
Surely, the financial strain will pale in comparison to the emotional component that will progress for everyone who is privileged to love and know him as Jack’s illness persists.
On behalf of Jack Richard and his family, please consider a donation OF ANY SIZE to help us meet our goal…ALL DONATIONS will be used for any and all medical expenses for Jack.
Jack will be up to the challenge of life with your help…and BATMAN’S wings of course!
THANK YOU!
