On May 27, 2020, my brother Jack Gaffney suffered a cerebellar stroke and was flown to Hershey Medical Center. Due to fluid/pressure on the brain as a result of the stroke, he underwent a craniotomy on May 28. Though the surgery went well, Jack did not wake up post surgery and has been unconscious ever since. In addition, he has had numerous surgical procedures in an effort to help his brain heal. Though we are holding out hope for a recovery, the future is extremely uncertain. 

Regardless of Jack’s state of recovery, one certainty is that Jack’s wife Jennifer 
and daughter Molly need your help. Jack and Jenn are self-employed and have 
been severely financially impacted by this situation as Jenn is juggling her time
trying to keep the business afloat and visiting Jack in Hershey. 

If you know Jack, you know he is always quick to offer help and lend a hand to friends and strangers in need.  
Any assistance you can offer and pay it forward to help Jack’s family in need and 
defray expenses they have as a result of 
this unfortunate situation would be 
greatly appreciated.
