Jack Easley, a US Veteran, ambulance to PA.

Hello, my name is Theresa Szmed and I am asking for your financial assistance to help defray ambulance transportation costs for my brother-in-law Jack Easley. The picture on this GoFundMe page is of Jack and his 17 year old daughter Julianna.

A couple of weeks ago, Jack, a US Vietnam Veteran, received an end of life diagnosis due to cancer. After learning of this diagnosis, it was a goal of Jack's to take, what he thought to be, a final vacation to Florida that was planned with his wife Liz (my sister) and his 17 year old daughter, Julianna. He was feeling pretty good before the trip, so they decided to go.

Unfortunately, after only being in Florida for 1 day, Jack suffered a medical emergency and was admitted to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. Long story short, the doctors at this hospital have stablized him and want him transported by to his hospital and doctors in Pittsburgh. He must have medical care while in route to Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, he is not able to fly commercial airlines and a private medical transport plane is way too expensibe to even consider. Liz, his wife, was able to get an ambulance transport for Jack for Saturday,  July 30, 2022. He is due to leave this Florida hospital at 12:00 pm and the travel will take 18 hours. The cost of this transport is close to $10,000. Even though our family has been supporting Liz, Jack, and Julianna throughout this ordeal, this staggering amount is difficult to come up with on such short notice.
