Jack & Bertie’s Fundraiser

We are raising funds for the Neonatal units at Royal Jubilee Belfast and Craigavon Area Hospital to give thanks to the care and support given to our sons Jack Somerville and Bertie Campbell. While Jack and Bertie’s stories may be different, the quality of care they received was identical.
Jack was born 10 weeks early back in October 2021 and spent 5 days in the Royal Jubilee NICU. He then spent a further 57 days in Craigavon Area Hospital NICU where he was weaned off oxygen taught how to bottle feed.
Bertie was born almost 5 weeks early in February 2021 in Craigavon Area Hospital and needed to spend his first 24 hours in the Neonatal unit and another 5 days in the main ward as he required observation and medication before being discharged.
The nurses in both hospitals were like family to us. They had seen us at our most vulnerable. We will forever be grateful for everything the staff at both hospitals did for Jack and Bertie.
To raise money and awareness for the neonatal units at both hospitals our plan is to organise the best car show and family fun day we can in Armagh on Saturday 1st June 2024, Jack & Bertie’s Car Show Bonanza. I hope you can join us at the event to make it a day to remember!
But if you are unable to make it, please donate whatever you can to help us raise a massive amount for the people who work so selflessly to provide care for our children when they need it the most.
