Jack and Nancy Recovery Fund

Hello everyone. I’d like to take a minute and humbly ask for your help. This is Jack and Nancy McEntee, our mom and dad. October 14th changed their lives, an electrical fire burned down half of their home and left the other half smoke and water damaged. By the grace of God everyone including their cat survived. With the structural burns, their house has become a total loss.

So many people have kindly asked how to help and this seems to be what they need the most, as they don’t have anywhere to store items right now. These two people, if you have never had the chance to meet them, have always been first in line to help someone else in need, whether it was a car, a safe place to live, a meal or someone to listen, they have always been there.

Jack is an Air Force veteran, community volunteer and R/C airplane hobbyist. Nancy is a volunteer at Cades Cove, a member of the Honor Guard and a Marine veteran, Vietnam era. They have always been fighters and survivors. This time around they need everyone in their corner. They are retired and on a fixed income, leaving little room to start tackling this monumental task of starting over.

Insurance will hopefully help them out but that doesn’t cover everything. Insurance is also taking longer with all of the recent hurricane claims. It’s been a rough time for so many… any and all donations will go directly to them. Any amount is welcome. Thank you for your support, from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for helping our family.
