Hello all,

Emma and Jack are running the Florence Marathon on November 30th to raise money for Clarissa's Campaign, a charity very close to our hearts.

1 in 300 youths aged 14-35 suffer from an undiagnosed life-threatening cardiac condition, and Clarissa's Campaign aims to prevent more tragedies and to give people the opportunity to test before it’s too late. The campaign works in cooperation with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), Clarissa’s family and the University of Cambridge.

Clarissa was one of the brightest and most brilliant, and her energy was infectious.

We will do our best to run even as half as fast as her, and will be consistently thinking of her courage and strength to get us to the finish line.

Jack met Clarissa whilst they were both studying abroad in Bologna, and within weeks his flat had adopted her as the fourth flatmate. She was a massive reason for Jack's unforgettable time in Bologna, which included a weekend to Florence, making this an even more memorable experience.

Any donations big or small will be hugely appreciated to such an amazing cause, as Jack might be an experienced marathon runner, but Emma will need all the help she can get to finish her first (and most likely final) marathon...THANK YOU!
