Hi My name is Mary Washington, I'm Jacinta's Mom, I'm raising funds for Jacinta's Medical expense, and other urgency unexpected expense during this difficult time.

NOT ONLY DID JACINTA HAD ONE BRAIN SURGERY, BUT TWO BRAIN SURGERIES! ( LOOK IN THE UPDATES)

Jacinta started not feeling well around spring break (April 14). We were out of the country visiting family. Jacinta's first time being out of the country visiting family. Jacinta's symptoms started like a cold or allergies. At one point we thought it might be COVID, but we tested her three times and they all came out negative. Then her symptoms started to get worse, and it sounded like a really bad migraine. She's was complaining feeling tried, nauseous, dizzy, and weak After having really bad headache for 10 days she noticed her vision was changing, she's was seeing double. The day we landed back in the U.S. I tried scheduling doctors appointment with her pediatric, but couldn't see her until the following week, so that same day I schedule her to see the optometrist, that when the eye doctor told me her optic nerves were swollen from both eyes. She's told me it could be that she has fluid on her brain or maybe she picked up a bacterial or virus from the country we were visiting. The eye doctor told me that Jacinta needed an MRI right away, that's when I asked her if she could please call her pediatrician, we were able to see her pediatrician she scheduled the same day an MRI. April 29, 2022 we found out Jacinta had a tumor on her brain, and it was creating pressure in her brain. She's had to get an emergency craniotomy surgery. On May 2, 2022 She's was schedule for surgery.

One of the scary and emotional moments a parent can have. During this difficult time my husband and I had to take time out of work without out pay. The severe of this surgery can sometimes come with some complications, I have to watch Jacinta for any changes, she still needs my help. I don't know when will I be able to go back to work. Jacinta is still going to need a few MRI to keep her in check, she's also going to need to go to her follow-up appointments. They still running more tests and doing more research to see what kind of tumor it is, and to help others children that might have the similar conditions.
