Hi everyone! Let me introduce you to Jace! He is the sweetest Doberman you will ever know and meet. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old to present day 6 years old. My baby boy loves anything soft, needs all the cuddles in the world, and wants to make as many new friends as possible.
Recently, everything that could go wrong has been going wrong. Jace attempted to stand up last weekend and started yelping in pain. As the day progressed, he was unable to move his back legs without feeling pain to the point he couldn't get up on his own. After many consultations, we admitted him into UGA Vet Hospital's care to diagnose what is going on with my best friend. He was diagnosed with a possible bulging disc and hemorrhaging along his spinal column. Surgery was our only option to keep my sweet boy from being unable to walk again.
Update: He made it through surgery and is being monitored day to day on building back strength to get up on his own.
I'm sharing my story in hopes that I can get help with his vet bills along with my surgery coming up soon to repair my torn patella. We're greatly in need of help so that Jace can get the best care he can receive as well as helping with my surgery that I can't afford.
