JACARANDA JILL NEEDS YOUR HELP
Grafton was blessed with the arrival of Jacaranda Jill just in time for the 2019 Jacranda Festival, a 6m high x 6m wide Kewpie Doll that starred in the closing ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
Jacaranda Jill become an instant icon to the festival, loved and photographed by everyone.
Unfortunately arsons set fire to her skirt late on the Friday night of the festival, causing extensive damage.
The Festival Committee have been working with the original designer of Jacaranda Jill and have a local team of creatives ready to restore her.
We need your help to fund this restoration to get her back to her former glory... with a little extra purple, ready for this years festival.
