Jac was born in 2013 with Diplegia which is a form of Cerebral Palsy.
Although Jac has made amazing progress over the years, brought on by countless medical visits and physiotherapy, simple day to day tasks we all take for granted are a massive challenge for him.
Jac can walk short distances on flat surfaces, but has never been able to go on walks with his friends and family anywhere that's not completely flat. He's never been for a walk in the woods, up a mountain or anywhere like that.
One area that would make a massive difference to Jac, Jez and Bethan is a powered wheelchair that is available. The wheelchair itself is over £8000 and the NHS are unable to help in any way.
As you can see in the first video Jac can just about walk unaided for short distances.
And in the next video Jac is having a demo from the company that manufacture the wheelchairs.
Not only is life difficult for Jac, but also for his parents Jeremy and Bethan too... this wheelchair will be absolutely life changing for all of them.
We will be doing a Sponsored Walk up Moel Famau on 20th July at 12.00 Noon, followed by a fundraiser / auction and some live music in the Blue Anchor afterwards.
If you could donate to this cause that would be greatly appreciated.
