Hi, my name is Nakeisha Caine. I’m the mom of Jabori Caine my second born son. He came into this world Prematurely at 33weeks weighing 5lb 2oz.. Directly being placed on vent support, and placed in Nicu at Texas children’s hospital in Hou, Tx. Jabori was diagnosed with having an ompahlocele, Bpd and a list of other health conditions. When Jabori was just two months old he began to have seizures and his body started to retain fluid. By 4 months Jabori needed to be trached due to one of the lung disease he was born with. And would now become a trach oxygen dependent infant. December 11 Jabori was ready to go home. Finally beating the odds set against him. He later returned December 14 being diagnosed with rhino virus but was quickly released back home December 21 right in time for Christmas. The biggest blessing being able to spend Christmas and new Years with both my boys home warmed my heart. Jan 4 went in to a routine scheduled doctors visit where everything checked out fine. Jabori was thriving so well. Things took a quick turn for the worst when Jabori suffered cardiac arrest later that evening. He was transported to the hospital where i was notified that due to a loss of oxygen he suffered severe brain damage. After being on support and getting a number of test, i was ultimately left with the decision to take him off support. Surrounded by family January 7 i held my baby boy as he took his last breaths in my arm. I did not have any insurance as i was out of work due to the 11 month hospital stay. So i ask if you can find it in your heart, and only if you can, donate to the funeral of my Bori bear…. It is very appreciated and i thank everyone in advance. To the nurses and Doctors at TCH Thank you for caring and loving my son, i could never forget the determination, the attentiveness, the love and just overall greatness that I’ve experienced while being there. You guys are amazing and I thank you…
