Hello everyone! Zion Dance Project is a Christian dance company in Dallas, Texas. I’ve heard about them for awhile now, but I never considered being involved until this year. My good friend Faith has been to their summer dance intensive and urged me to audition. She told me how life changing it was for her spiritually and that she was able to connect with God through dance. Although I missed the in person audition, I submitted an online audition for the heck of it. Although I expected to hear back in a few weeks, I was accepted in under 24hrs! I was excited yet I wanted to pray about it. I accepted the opportunity and I am currently raising the funds for it. As a recent college grad, I am in a weird job transition. I’m waiting to hear back from studios for full time dance positions. My current place of work is over staffed and isn’t giving me the hours I need to put aside money I need. I have been overwhelmed knowing that I want to attend this experience in a time that isn’t the most convenient for me. Something I’ve been learning in this past year, is that I need to submit all things to God. As someone told me: if God wants me there this summer, I will be there.
