Donation protected
Our son, John Edward Butler III and our beautiful daughter-in-law, Ashley Butler was blessed on May 15, 2022 at 11:27 a.m. with a precious baby who they named John Edward Butler IV. Due to complications unknown at the time, Baby J was airlifted to Marshfield to the NICU.
After an agonizing five days, they made the most difficult decision no new parents should ever have to make. After multiple tests, MRI, speaking with a team of doctors and specialists, it was determined Baby J's brain hadn't fully developed and would never breathe on his own. They decided their precious son would be taken off of life support. On May 20th at 5:46 p.m., Baby J was held by his parents as he took his last breath.
For those of you who don't know John and Ashley, they were married on June 12, 2021. They met when they were just children through volleyball when both sets of grandparents of Baby J played in a volleyball league. They still share the same love for volleyball, the Green Bay Packers, and their fur baby Lambeau. Ashley is a 1st grade teacher at Woodside and John is a service technician at Doorworks. The love and support they continue to show each other is insurmountable.
As the grandparents of Baby J; Ron and Connie Muehlenkamp, and Blair and Angel (Butler) Meddaugh, we are asking for your help with a monetary donation. This will offset the medical bills that will start to flood their mailbox and serve as a constant reminder of the loss of their beautiful baby boy, John Edward Butler IV.
Any amount is appreciated and if you're unable, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
As my son said, "Make sure you hug your family. Your friends. Your little kiddos as much as you possibly can."
We would also like to thank the multiple nurses and doctors, both at Riverview and Marshfield, who took care of their precious baby boy and did all they could.
