Irish aid for Rio Grande do Sul flood victims

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Gabriella. I live in Dublin but I’m originally from Rio Grande do Sul, the souther state of Brazil that has been severely damaged by unprecedented floods. Rio Grande do Sul is twice as big as Ireland and 90% of its cities were affected so the population is in desperate need of food, water and basic supplies:

• Over 450 cities were affected.
• More than 500.000 people were displaced.
• More than 2.000.000 people were affected.

The money raised here will be used to cover maintenance cost of the ‘Aliadas Shelter’, an
oficial shelter recognised by the State of Rio Grande do Sul and its one of the only three shelters that were created exclusively for women and children that have lost their homes and all their belongings during this catastrophic flood.

The ‘Aliadas Shelter’ was created by my two sisters Ali Klemt and Luiza Fontanella and the Clube Aliadas, a reputable organisation focused in female communities. I’m witnessing first hand their tireless efforts to keep the shelter up running and somehow making it a happy place for women and children to live in during such tragic times.

No amount is too small. If you are not in a position to donate now please share it. Together we can make a big difference ❤️
