Hello my name is Linette Soto and I’m doing this go fund me because I’m in need of help and do not know where else to turn . I’m 31 years old and I have a son that’s 2 almost 3 on October 11th . I’ve been dealing with health complications since I was born. I was born premature and have had blood transfusion, 3 diaphragmatic hernia surgeries, and I was also placed on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). Also was born with Pectus excavatum (also known as concave chest or funnel chest, is a chest wall deformity in which a child's breastbone (sternum) and some of the ribs grow inward) & Situs inversus (is a rare genetic condition in which the organs in your chest and abdomen are positioned in a mirror image of normal human anatomy.) all these complications were when I was born premature. My Pectus Excavatum repair was done in 2009and I was also born with scoliosis and had surgery for that in 2006 . As getting older my asthma was getting worse and so was my heart had to see a cardiologist in 2011 I was diagnosed with Pulmonary arterial hypertension . I was always told by many doctors I wouldn’t be able to have kids. On March 21 of 2022 I had an unexpected news that I was pregnant i was 7 weeks along I really couldn’t believe and also was scared I would miscarry due to my health issues. on June 26 of 2022 my obgyn wanted me to abort my son meanwhile I was already feeling him move and I said ABSOLUTELY NOT! they told me my son and I only had a 50% chance to survive him and I and honestly it was a risk I was willing to take on July 28 of 2022 I was admitted to Albany med until they came up with a plan they had me do a scheduled C-section for October 11 of 2022. My son was born at 33 weeks and six days I was put to sleep during the C-section so I couldn’t see my son until the third day that he was born. We were both separated. He was in Nicu and I was in the ICU while in the my son stopped breathing twice he was born 4 pounds and 10 oz. 19 inches long. He was in the Nicu for 14 days. I was in ICU for three days fast-forward to last year of 2024. My health condition has gotten worse, my pulmonary hypertension due to having my son they did tell me that my pulmonary hypertension would get worse and it did September 5 of 2024. I was given 2 to 3 years to live without my lung transplant. I am currently on oxygen 24 seven I have a portable oxygen concentrator and I have a concentrator. All I need is enough money to be able to travel from New York to to Pennsylvania to be able to make it to my appointments I don’t own a car I cannot work. I already have a consultation coming up in two weeks and I will be attending to that consultation. The next step would be in an evaluation and I would need help to be able to get there taking a train and taking a bus. I am unable to do so because of my Oxygen Supply The only way is through plane because it’s the quickest way if you guys can find it in your heart to please help me out. I just want to be able to see my son grow and live as long as I can so I can be here in this world for my son.
